ORLANDO, Fla. — A new website promises to offer adult entertainment fans a better way to get rid of their used DVDs -- good, old-fashioned online bartering.
MyPornDVDTrader.com launched this week and costs $4.99 a month. Fans can also build up capital on the site with trades -- every time a member exchanges a DVD with another, they earn 99 cents.
"Our customers now will have the choice of extending the life of their adult entertainment by trading them with others in a easy to use and secured environment,” said Mike Marrero, the company's promotion director.
The site will feature both top-level and B-movie titles for sale or trade. Members will also have access to DVD reviews. The reviews will be available in both podcast and syndicated forms.
